  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

  • 3 cups apples – peeled, cored, and chopped We love granny smith.

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 2 tsp cinnamon


  • Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, oats, flour, and butter into a crumb mixture. Press half of the mixture into an 8″ square pan.
  • Dump the chopped apples over the crust in the pan. Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon over top. Crumble the remaining oat mixture on top.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown on top. Serve plain or with ice cream or whipped topping.
