1 cup brown sugar
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter, melted
3 cups apples – peeled, cored, and chopped We love granny smith.
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°.
- In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, oats, flour, and butter into a crumb mixture. Press half of the mixture into an 8″ square pan.
- Dump the chopped apples over the crust in the pan. Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon over top. Crumble the remaining oat mixture on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown on top. Serve plain or with ice cream or whipped topping.
