minutesThis is the best taco soup recipe I’ve ever had. It can also be made ahead of time by dumping all ingredients into the slow cooker and heating several hours on “warm” or an hour on “low.”
Ingredients
1 15oz can Black beans
1 15oz can Chili beans I use mild.
1 15oz can Corn
1 28oz can Crushed and diced tomatoes Diced works well, too.
1 can Chicken Or 1 cooked chicken breast, cubed or shredded.
1 1oz pkg taco seasoning
- Optional Toppings
Sour cream
Crushed nacho chips
Sliced green onions
Shredded cheese
Directions
- Dump all of the ingredients into a large pot and stir.
- Heat on medium, stirring occasionally, until desired temperature is reached.
- Top individual bowls with optional toppings like sour cream, crushed nacho chips, sliced green onions, shredded cheese, or another favorite taco topping.

- We like to freeze any leftovers. It works great!
