minutesI’ve made a lot of pizza dough recipes, but I always forget about letting the dough rise…This one tastes great, and you don’t need to wait for it to rise! Win-win. Also, Adding seasonings to the dough makes all the difference in this homemade pizza.
Ingredients
- Pizza Dough
3 cups flour
1 tbsp yeast or 1 packet if you don’t buy in bulk, but the crust won’t rise quite as much
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp onion powder
1/4-1/2 tsp dried rosemary to taste, I did 1/2 tsp
1 dash dried basil
1 cup warm water
2 tbsp oil
- Our Go-To Toppings
Marinara sauce – I get mine from Aldi by the other pasta sauces.
Mozzarella cheese – Pile. It. On.
Pepperoni
Peppers
Bacon bits
Pineapple – Don’t judge me
Black olives
Mushrooms – if I had my way)
Whatever else you love
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°.
- Combine flour, salt, sugar, yeast, and other seasonings in a large bowl.
- Mix in the oil and warm water.
- Roll the dough out to fit your desired pan. This is enough for a large pizza or several personal size pizzas.
- Top the pizza(s) as desired.
- Back at 375° for 20-25 minutes or do desired doneness.
Notes
- We make snowman and heart shaped pizzas. We love using them for fun occasions.
